End of an era
December 2, 2007Wow, it's been a looong-ass
time since I've updated this page. It's been
about 3 years since I last updated this page.
Times change and life goes on. On this day I thought
this occasion would be most fitting for me to make a
new entry. Yesterday,
I sold my Camryr to my bro-in-law as I had recently
bought a 2008 Black Diamond C-pkg Toyota FJ Cruiser
(yeah, still keepin it in the Toyota family yo!).
So I thought I'd officially close off this webpage
with a final note.
When I'm old and gray, I think
I'm going to look past at all the cars that I've owned
and look fondly back on my Camry. It's been
there through many of my good and bad experiences in
my life. I put alot of time, energy, money and
love into that car... all with no regrets. I
kinda lost the love for a bit after it got broken into
in 2004 and all my stereo equipment got stolen.
But I still appreciated it's worth and maintained it
to it's utmost, just didn't put more money into it.
I eventually did get my suspension and muffler
upgrades that I planned for. All in all, I was
able to build up a car that I planned for over the
years and was very satisfied with the way that it
turned out. I will truly miss this car.
As for the website... I'm just
going to leave it as-is. If the links are
broken... sorry bro, I don't have the time to track
down all the broken links. ImageStation closed
down and changed to Shutterfly which is why most of
the DIY pics don't work. Here's the Shutterfly
link if you need to see the larger pics (http://rayrayonline.shutterfly.com). Thanks to all
that visited and peeped my Camry... I appreciate
all the guestbook comments.
So to all of you out there with
your own Camrys... do it your way, and do it right.
It might not be the fastest car, or the prettiest
car... but yo man, it is a damn good car.
I'm going to update my pages one last time.
Don't worry, I'll leave the DIYs up for those little
mods I did... I hope that it's helped in some little
way. I put 305,000 kms on it and it was still
running strong. I only hope my future vehicles
run that well for so long. So raise your
glasses, here's a farewell to a good friend... my
Camry. Cheers.
