Gas gauge. Some trimming was required to fit
properly. mostly just the excess clear plastic
you see on the sides.
Temp gauge. Some trimming was required on this
as well.
Useless instructions.
Here's my original gauges with tons of mileage
(actually, that's in kilometers ~ but you knew
that!)
Remove the U-shaped plastic trim piece around
the radio to show the 2 screws holding this
side of the dash trim in place.
Then you have to remove the 2 screws above the
gauges.
Now you can remove the dash trim. Pull on the
bottom side of the trim near the gauges. The
only thing holding the trim in place are clips
which can be pretty stubborn, so pull firmly
but be careful not to break the trim.
You may need to pull near the power mirror
switch as there are clips behind this area...
...and also clips behind the center vents.
Before we remove the whole trim, we need to
remove the electrical plugs connected to it.
