This is what you get in the box: shifter, hex screws, rubber boot and instructions.	The original shift knob.	Another shot of the OEM shifter.
This is what is looks like without the shifter on. No cuts have been made at this point.	I cut 2.5 inches off the skinny inner staff and the larger outer staff. The blue wires are for the overdrive button.	I used a hacksaw to cut the shaft but a pipecutter would've been easier. You can probably rent one for the day at your local hardware store.
Now the shifter sits nice and low... a perfect fit.	If you don't cut the shaft the shifter floats about 3 inches higher than in the pic.	Button out = OD on. Button in = OD off. I know it's backwards, but that's how it is!
